InfoCamp Seattle 2009 Travel Information

 

Location                                                                                                    

 

InfoCamp Seattle 2009 will be at the historic Cleveland High School building: 5511 15th Ave S, Seattle WA 98018 (Google map)

 

Cleveland is in the Beacon Hill neighborhood in South Seattle, right next to Georgetown, and about 5 miles south of downtown Seattle. 

 

Getting to InfoCamp                                                                                  

 

 

Driving? 

 

Cleveland is easily accessible from I-5 via either exit 161 (toward Albro Place) or exit 163a (toward Columbian Way):

 

The large, free parking lot is just south of the building:

  • If you take exit 163a, you'll approach Cleveland from the north.  Pass the school before turning right to get into the parking lot.
  • If you take exit 161, you'll approach Cleveland from the south. Turn left into the parking lot before the school.

Taking the bus?

 

  • Metro route 60 runs from Capitol Hill and stops directly in front of InfoCamp.
  • Metro route 106 runs from downtown and stops about 0.3 mi from InfoCamp. Take the first stop after the bus exits the freeway (or ask the driver for the stop nearest Cleveland High School). Note: it's a slightly uphill walk.
  • Metro route 131 runs from downtown and stops in Georgetown, about 0.5 mi from InfoCamp. Take the stop at Corson Ave S & Airport Way S. Note: it's an uphill walk.

Biking? 

 

Bicyclists can choose from a few routes:

Getting to Seattle                                                                                     

 

Taking the train to Seattle? You'll arrive at the King Street Station in downtown.

The Silver Cloud Hotel (1100 Broadway, Seattle WA 98122) is on Capitol Hill, near downtown.  It's 4 miles north of InfoCamp (see route on Google maps).  Just steps from the front door is a stop on the route 60 bus line, which takes you directly to InfoCamp (see bus route on Google maps).
